The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) College of Law is hosting their 3rd Annual Distinguished Alumni Awards to be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in the stately atrium of the law school, 201 Beggs Avenue, Orlando, Florida from 7-10pm. Since graduating its first class in 2005, their alumni have excelled in their chosen professions—whether actually practicing law or utilizing their degrees in other industries. The Distinguished Alumni Awards recognizes College of Law alumni for their outstanding personal or professional achievements. The 2017 celebration will also recognize the Crystal Anniversary of the re-established FAMU College of Law.

Recipients will be selected from the alumni base of more than 1,300 who were members of the last 12 graduating classes. In addition, a special Legacy Award will be presented to a graduate from the original College of Law.

Proceeds from the event will help support alumni programs and activities, including an endowed alumni-supported scholarship.
