Office Manager

Linda Hayes is a Florida Registered and Certified Paralegal specializing in probate and guardianship. She received her paralegal degree in 1998 and has worked in the legal field since 2002.  Linda started out as a Trial Clerk for the Orange County Clerk of Court in the criminal division. She has worked in the probate and guardianship field for over 15 years. She transitioned her role to office manager in 2015. She is compassionate and understanding in dealing with difficult situations. In her off time, Linda enjoys reading, going to the movies and spending time with her daughter.

Fanny began her career in the healthcare industry which later spurred her passion for assisting the disabled. She has been working with governmental benefits since 2010. Fanny graduated from Temple University with a degree in Psychology. As a mother of two girls, Fanny enjoys traveling, martial arts, and cooking with her children.

Chris joined our team in 2012. Chris has over 12 years of customer service experience from various industries including law, healthcare and private industry. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UCF. Chris is responsible for creating a memorable client experience from welcoming our clients to ensuring quality and service exceed client expectations. Chris enjoys traveling with her family and playing with her Labradoodle, Lola.

Shelby began her career working for an Orthopedic surgeon. She received her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and earned her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration & Management with a specialty in project management. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, working out and spending time with friends & family.

Shamalia joined our team in January of 2019. She grew up in the Virgin Islands and joined the firm with a background in the hospitality industry. Shamalia provides general office support and assists with various tasks and projects, including records management and a listening ear for our clients. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the movies, the beach and spending time with friends, family and her beloved cat, Destiny.

Maricarmen Garcia

Maricarmen achieved her dual bachelor's degree in both Health Service Administration and Public Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is a former DCF employee having worked with the elderly in both government and nursing home facility settings since 2001. In her free time, Maricarmen volunteers for the East Orlando Predators AAU division. She also enjoys going to the beach, football games, movies and spending time with the family.

Michele Garris

Michele is a medical and legal transcriptionist with nearly 20 years of experience.  She has worked as a legal assistant in the areas of insurance defense, family law, intellectual property, and probate.  She enjoys volunteering with various organizations including Meals on Wheels, Pet Smart, and Hands on Orlando.  Michele lives in the Sanford Historic District with her husband of 24 years and their three cats.  Her passions are animals, food and wine, taking care of their 130-year-old house, and taking road trips with her husband.
