April 2020 Client Spotlight

April 2, 2020 in News

We are proud to say that we have simply amazing people in our family of clients. Each month we take time out to shine a spotlight on our clients’ accomplishments, passions and experiences.

Please meet Irene Grebely. Irene has been a secretary for most of her working career.  Retiring from the State of New Jersey, she relocated with her husband Gaza P. Grebely to Ormond Beach, FL in 1985.   Prior to relocating, Irene had lived in Fords, NJ on Pitman Ave. all of her life.  She moved from one end of the street to the other where they built a home in 1948.

Irene and Gaza enjoyed 9 years in Ormond Beach until Gaza passed away on August 10, 1994. Irene later moved closer to her son, Robert, who has been her caregiver for the past 26 years.

Irene’s daughter Christine, husband Michael, and two granddaughters, Kate and Grace reside in Westwood, Massachusetts.  Kate recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has relocated to New Hampshire.  Grace is a junior in High School.  Christine and Michael have been busy with the activities of two young ladies.

Irene has always cherished her Family.  She has and continues to delight in sharing her recipes, piano, Hungarian, & knitting knowledge to anyone who has an interest.   She is a very astute 94-year-old.  Her only limitations are the physical ones which impede her sight and mobility.

Even so she has always been a devoted Catholic and member of the Holy Rosary Society.

We have been assisting Irene with her elder law needs since 2017. To show our appreciation for her trust in us, we have made a donation in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
