We are proud to say we have simply amazing people in our family of Clients.  Each month we take time out to shine a spotlight on our Clients accomplishments, passions and experience.  Please meet Joyce W. Aide.

Joyce is a fifth generation Floridan born in Dowling Park, Florida.  She was the second child, and the only girl, in a family of seven children.  The family moved to Apopka when she was 11 years old.

She has been married to Kelly Aide for over 57 years.  They have one daughter, Teri Aide, and one grandson, Cooper Harris.  Her daughter has a home in the same neighborhood.  As well as five brothers still living, she has numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  She and her brothers try to get together at least once a year for a family reunion.

Most of her working life, both before and after college, has been spent as an accountant. The same year her daughter started junior high school, Joyce started college.  She earned a BSBA from UCF in 1979 and became a certified public accountant.  From 1985 until 2009, she served on the Accounting Technology Advisory Committee at Valencia Community College.  She has also served on the advisory board for Birth Defect Research for Children as the treasurer.  Currently she is the treasurer for the Artists League of Orange County.

Joyce enjoys a number of hobbies and activities including attending music festivals, painting, reading, gardening, attending plays, concerts and the opera, playing bridge, visiting museums and travel.
