What a life well-lived by this charming couple, Ed and Naomi Christy, celebrating their 49th anniversary this September with fun memories of their Las Vegas wedding in 1972.

Ed’s family hails from Freemont Ohio but Ed grew up in Tampa from the age of 5. He attended Plant High where he was the star quarterback. He went on to attend the University of Florida where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. After college Ed enlisted in the US ARMY and fought admirably in the Korean War. He always would say ” I was never so cold in my life!”  Naomi is a Tampa Native and graduated from Hillsborough High School and became an accomplished Court Reporter and executive secretary for one of Florida’s top law firms.

Ed and Naomi shared many things and one of them was the love of golf. They were both award winning golfers and played on many beautiful courses around the world. They also shared a love of travel and have enjoyed seeing all of the 50 states. They adored their fun trips to San Francisco and especially loved traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand and Australia. Cruising was also something they enjoyed and the highlights of their cruising itinerary were trips to the Caribbean and Bermuda. 

Family always played an important part in their lives. Ed has one son, Ed Jr., 2 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren. Naomi has 2 children, Pam and Tim, 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. They have enjoyed marking their fine achievements thru the years and have been so helpful and supportive in all they have done. 

Their Christian faith and active church membership have enabled them to reach out to many, helping them with struggles along the way, and has made them wonderful friends and neighbors to those in their community. 

All in all, Ed and Naomi have lived and are living a life full of grace and kindness and all have been blessed by knowing them.

It has been our pleasure at the Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller to assist Ed and Naomi Christy with their elder law needs.  As an expression of our appreciation, the firm will donate $100.00 to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital
