Every year, collectively we take a day to honor, who often times is one of the most influential figures in our lives. Although our love and gratitude for their dedication and compassion is all year round – this Sunday, May 9^th will officially be Mother’s Day! A very special day to celebrate motherhood and mothers all across the country. Since 1914 when Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating a national holiday to honor mothers be held on the second Sunday in May; the nation has donned its mothers and mother-like figures with gifts, flowers, cards and more. Most importantly, acknowledging their sacrifices and showing our admiration for their due diligence in shaping our communities. To all the mothers and mother-like figures, we wish you a magnificent Mother’s Day! We appreciate you!
