Please meet Diane Alas. Diane was born and raised in a small summer resort town on Long Island, New York about 70 miles east of New York City.

Diane moved from Long Island to Texas in 1965 to attend the University of Texas and graduated with a BBA in accounting in 1971 and then moved to Florida

Diane is blessed with a wonderful son who works for an airline that has allowed her to travel extensively, she has been as far west as Australia and as far east as Moscow, the major cities of Europe and 36 of the 50 states, including many of the national parks, which she loves.

For 15 years she worked for a small business accounting and tax office and moved to Osceola District Schools where she administered their capital outlaw budget for 25 years and retired April 30, 2014, but continued to work part-time in taxes until her stroke in November 2019.

Diane loves to read, do counted cross-stitch and crossword puzzles.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies at the age of sixty-two.
