Happy Veterans Day!

November 10, 2023 in News

The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to all Veterans. We are proud of you and all you have done for our country. Happy Veterans Day!

As a veteran or surviving spouse, you may be eligible for VA benefits to help pay for long-term care. Such benefits may make a significant difference in your quality of life and long-term care options. Our VA accredited attorneys at The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller are skilled at navigating the complex VA rules. We can help you preserve your assets while still qualifying for benefits to help you pay for private home care, assisted living and prescriptions. We will analyze your assets, estate planning documents, and medical expenses and provide you a detailed and comprehensive explanation of available VA non-service-connected pension options.

Do you or a loved one suffer from memory loss or need assistance with the activities of daily living (bathing, walking, eating, dressing, toileting)? Has it become unsafe for you or a loved one to live alone? There is a special monthly VA pension program called “Aid & Attendance” which can provide additional monthly income to pay for the health care costs related to these needs. The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller would be happy to see if you or a loved one qualifies based on assets and income.

The rules governing VA benefits and Medicaid differ significantly. It is crucial to have an advocate well versed in both. Attorney Heather Kirson and Tracy Zanco are VA accredited and has many years of experience helping clients to achieve the best possible long-term care plans to meet their unique needs.
