We are proud to say we have simply amazing people in our family of clients.  Each month we take time out to shine a spotlight on our clients accomplishments, passions and experience.  Please meet Judy and Tom Granquist.

Judy and Tom have enjoyed living in Orlando since 1991. They used the “pin ball” approach to finding “The City Beautiful”.  Their working careers lead them to live in 8 different Zip Codes, including New Jersey and Miami, before reaching their “End of the Trail” address.

Judy is from Clinton, Iowa.  Tom grew up in Chicago and still claims that Illinois corn is better than Iowa Corn!  They met in 1960 at school (Coe College) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  In 1962, they were married in Clinton. After 4 years (and 2 daughters) in the Navy, they returned to civilian life and quickly added a son.  Over the years, 8 grandchildren (4 girls and 4 boys) showed up to round out the family.

As their children grew up and started school, Judy returned to Nursing School and earned her RN.  Highly people focused, she spent most of her “floor experience” as an ICU Head Nurse, but she held many other nursing and administrative positions over the years and retired as the Director of Quality at HCA/Sanford.  Tom officially retired from AT&T as the Director of Engineering for Central Florida.  He continued to work for them for a few years, on a part time basis, till he hung out his “Gone Fishing” sign.
