Spring is Here!

March 19, 2021 in News

The March Equinox, also known as The Spring Equinox is tomorrow March 20th. Typically, this day also marks the first day of Spring. One out of two times per year the equinox occurs at a specific moment in time when the Sun crosses the celestial equator (the imaginary line above Earth’s Equator running north to south). The earth’s access is tilted neither towards nor away from the Sun. It will sit perpendicular to the Sun’s rays, causing the day and night to equal duration in most time zones around the world. Many cultures around the world hold festivals and celebrate all day in honor of The Spring Equinox. The exact time of this year’s Spring equinox in our hometown of Orlando, FL will occur tomorrow morning at 5:37am, EST.

“Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!” — Sitting Bull
