The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller is proud to announce that Board Certified Elder Law Attorney Heather C. Kirson has been named as a 2018 Super Lawyer. Attorney Kirson is a founding partner of the Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller and focuses on elder law, which includes Medicaid planning, VA Benefits planning, estate planning, probate, guardianship, and special needs trusts. Attorney Kirson has over 10 years of experience in the field of elder law and she has been recognized for her accomplishments throughout her career. In 2011, she was named a Florida “Legal Elite Up and Comer” by Florida Trend magazine. In 2013, she was recognized by the Florida Supreme Court for her pro bono service. In 2017, Super Lawyers selected her as a Rising Star.

Attorney Kirson is active in several professional organizations. She is a current board member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA). Ms. Kirson belongs to the Elder Law Section and the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. She has previously served on the Executive Council of the Florida Bar’s Elder Law Section and was Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section’s Medicaid Committee. Attorney Kirson is active with the Orange County Bar Association, belongs to the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, the Florida State Guardianship Association, Best Buddies Advisory Board for Central Florida, the American Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Attorney Kirson earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Rollins College and her law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law.
