The Elder Law Center staff attended The Annual Best Buddies Gala was held on Friday, November 2^nd at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando. The night consisted of a silent and live auction, a delicious meal, and powerful speeches from a few individuals who are closely impacted by the work of Best Buddies. This year’s gala was a memorable one as the Champions raised over $100,000 and it was a huge success! All of the funds raised benefit Best Buddies- the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
