The Elder Law Center of Kirson and Fuller volunteers at UP Orlando!

December 2, 2020 in News

The staff from The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller (ELC) recently volunteered at United Against Poverty (UP) Orlando.  UP Orlando provides services such as low-cost grocery, crisis stabilization, educational opportunities and employment training and placement.    The ELC donated over 18 hours of volunteer time.  In addition, the ELC made a financial contribution to UP Orlando so that they may continue to give a hand up to individuals and families in our community that are struggling, which is especially important this year.

Everyone worked in the storage facility and helped organize their supplies.  We also assisted in getting ready for their annual fund raiser, Quack Attack.  Quack Attack is a 5k race for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities.  Participants are required to wear an inflatable duck-shaped float during the race.  We had a lot of fun assisting with this project and volunteering at UP Orlando!
