World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD)

June 14, 2019 in News

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is June 15th. We encourage you to help spread the awareness of elder abuse. This can be done by taking time to educate your clients, family and friends, and your community so they are aware that elder abuse exists. Today, June 14th, attorneys, Renee Peppy and Kate Wakeman are attending a training to continue their legal education regarding the legal aspects of elder abuse and guardianship.

The purpose of WEAAD is to provide an opportunity for communities around the world to promote a better understanding of abuse and neglect of older persons by raising awareness of the cultural, social, economic and demographic processes affecting elder abuse and neglect. At The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller we are committed to elders and continuing our education to help us better assist elders and provide them with the best legal options available. If you are suffering from elder abuse or you are concerned about a loved one suffering from elder abuse and you would like legal assistance, please contact The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller at 407-422-3017 and one of our experienced and well-trained attorneys will assist you.
